Ronn Brown: Solar Eclipse (smaller size unframed print)

This photograph was made by photographer Ronn Brown in Muncie during the recent solar eclipse.  The Native American figure is the iconic sculpture, Passing of the Buffalo in the roundabout on south Walnut Street.  In the days leading up to the eclipse, Brown took his equipment inside the roundabout to observe the position of the sun and set up his camera to compose this image.  

Originally from East Central Indiana, Mr. Brown spent his career in Los Angeles working in the film and music industries for 20 years photographing musicians, actors and models. This kind of photography requires superb technical skills operating cameras and lights.  In 2020, he returned to Muncie and continues to be a model photographer in his studio on North Walnut Street.
